Laceless is more for not being bothered to take 10 seconds to tie laces although lockdown becomes entirely compromised firstly, then style. The DFC is claimed to help aid proprioception, but it's worn more for style, or to be a laceless boot for many anyway

It's the fact that you have the option that's the difference. You don't have to buy laceless boots, but if you want the Phantom Vision, you have no choice but to pay the $25 premium that is associated to the boots having a collar, rather than $250 that you'd pay for any other top-end Nike boots. The performance of the product has nothing to do with this discussion. Buying a sub par product is a poor decision by the consumer, not a case of the consumer being scammed.

Another Great Video Jimminy. I’ve always wanted to share my opinion on laceless boots but never opted to do so. But here it is, as a Goalkeeper I can appreciate the convenience of laceless boots due to the single fact that I never have to worry about my laces coming loose and having to tie them during a match or training session. A fact I only became aware of after buying them but hey, it works for me😅😅

Nope. If you want a Phantom Vision, you have to buy the mid-cut version, which is $275 instead of $250 like all of Nike's other top-end boots. You don't have to buy laceless boots at all, because Adidas offers a laced variant with all four lines.

The fg ag scam thing is so true! I have had an fg pair of vapor 12 and had to play with them for about a year on ag and they didnt break. Guys the ACC is a placebo effect if you think it works then it works but if you think it does not work then it does not work. I personally feel like it helps me control better in wet conditions so I think it really works. But like I said its a placebo effect so its up to you if you think it does not work.

No. But I personally believe that just like when disk brakes first came out in race cars to replace drum brakes, I think the same could happen with laceless. Again, it won’t be for everyone, but there is a possibility that in the next 5 years laceless boots can come up with some form of adjustability. The back tab in the Nike ispa 270 comes to mind.

1. The adidas 19 line does not have a fg/ag soleplate the box and tags only say FG. In 2015 and maybe 2015 they were fg/ag but in 2015 the definitely were both 2. To the people mentioning acc think of it as a waterproofing membrane, I feel when I wear boots with ACC my feet don't get wet as they would in other brands 3. I HATE the dynamic fit collar, I work somewhere that sells the boots and I hate hearing people claim it's for ankle support. Total scam

puma boots are unsafe to use on AG. my heel stud caught in the ground and I fractured my heel. Couldn't play for 3 months. Also Puma boots just suck in general, felt like i was playing with a pebble stuck in my shoe next to my big toe because of their stud configuration. Never again puma.
