I think its worth remembering that the versions of Js Mike wore wear made of truly premium materials and not the garbage ones Nike sells to us. Real soft full grain leather, plush suede and comfy nubuck. Not pleather and bargain bin suede.

3, ll, 12, 13,14. The only problem with these is the breathability. Your feet will be suffocated allday just the same unless you're atleast in the ll and 12 lows. 13 and 14 lows are still mids so they're sweaty as well. It's Why i'm on lows only these days

The 4s for sure, the sole feels like concrete and your right that plastic netting kills. I had a few pairs as a kid and don't remember them being that tough on my feet, eh, probably made me jump higher. The ones I stick to mostly are 3, 5, and 12s.

For me it has to be the 9's, I've had 2 pairs, went up 1/2 a size on the 2nd pair, and both fit narrow up front and kill my pinky toes after wearing a couple hours. I actually find the 2's very comfortable, especially the releases over the past few years.

11's run a lil small so you gotta go up 1/2 a size, 12's are good to go imo. I feel both are 2 of the best in terms of foot support, and great for actual game play.

Nike Air Ships are a lot more comfortable than AJ1's, so I don't understand why they didn't just transfer the tooling of the Air Ships to the Air Jordan 1's. I especially like that forefoot elastic strap from the Air Ships that helps aid with the comfort but also gives rigidity/stability to the sneaker.

My step dad made a great point about why Jordan is the greatest, He pointed out the fact that teams (Celtics) used to play way more rough on the court back then compared to how it is now, the fact that Jordan had to play a basketball game against pros with hockey like aggression and violence yet he still preformed speaks for itself. I agree with the Jordan 4s and 1s, as much as I love how they look. I have narrow feet and slim legs and ankles so I never had any pinching or heel tab problems with the 4s. But, they just hurt my feet and arch after walking in them all day, they’re just so stiff man. Esp the Jordan 1s, they have zero cushioning. This is why recently I’ve been wearing my big bubble Air Max 1s and Air Trainer 1s a whole lot more. Cause they’re still retro, just as versatile, yet the foam in them is just way more comfortable and you can actually feel the air units in them. I’ve also recently been wearing my 4D Adidas sneakers (specifically the 4D FWD version of their 4D stuff, but the others are also still comfortable) more and their lightstrike runners cause they’re awesome for all day comfort. Oddly enough, I find Stan Smiths to be just a bit more comfortable than Jordan 1s even though they’re basically the same tech wise (or lack thereof), even compared to Jordan 1 lows. I don’t know why, but maybe it’s my feet.

The ogs were much more comfortable because the quality was much better. I owned og 3,4 and 5s played basketball, football baseball ball and skateboarded in those things. Literally wore them down into the ground. I don't ever remember them being uncomfortable.
