YESSS I AGREE! Who in this day n age can afford all those high end, grossly overpriced products? Why do people insist on spending that kind of money just for the name? UPDATE! The mascara seems to be a tubing formula! I washed it off last night and it came off in the little tubes. No wonder it didn't smudge! Also thank you for the tips about using a flat brush for the eyeshadow but that didn't work either. I think it's just a bad formula.

Yes, l love their pore-refining primer serum as a base for pressed powder foundation. It's an HG for me w the L'Oreal Infallible powder foundation. And their Dewy foundation is really, really great as well. They need to improve the shades of their Tinted Hydrators though. But I couldn't agree more on the items I just mentioned 💖

I was disappointed in Wet N Wild foundation...I was told that it was a great product, as good as highend... but its nowhere near as good as L'Oréal or even Maybelline!! Really emphasised lines. But eyeshadow palettes are great 👍

Thank you Jen for jumping on this brand so quick. I work at a Walmart, so I had the good fortune to stock the display for the first time. Of course I had to pick up a few items to try. I got an all matte eyeshadow palette, the one with the vivid blue, plus a concealer palette and a color correction palette. The eyeshadows had decent pigment, but the lasting power was abysmal. Even with an eye primer, the shadows creased and faded within 3 hours. The concealer and corrector is much darker in the pan than it swatches, so everyone keep that in mind. They are pretty stiff and a little waxy, but they did work ok once you warm it up. They stayed remarkably well and no creasing at all. I was pretty impressed actually, but it takes some work to get them to blend, it’s better to pat on with the fingers. Anyway, I’m definitely going to pick up the lip products, those colors looked great on you!

For the MUR liquid eyeshadows, you might try using it with a small, flat synthetic brush (I actually use art brushes from the craft store, the synthetic bristles don't absorb product) applying the eyeshadow directly into the brush or depending on how quickly it dries to a glass palette. 💜

So after I saw your video I just happened to go to Walmart and picked up a few things I haven’t tried yet, BUT my lips were REALLY chapped and peeling. I bought the clear lip oil (only one they had), put it on 2x and woke up the next day with the most hydrated, soft lips with NO peeling whatsoever! And I applied it looooong before I went to bed. This product is a real win. And the sparkles in the formula really don’t show up on the lips. Thank you!

I had ordered a few of these items from the Revolution website sometime last year and there were a few little things I liked. I liked the eyeliner pencil in nude for my waterline as it was a good color, was opaque and went on in one swipe and stays on my water line all day. Not bad for $1.98! I liked the serum foundation (I got shade F3) and it reminded me of the dropper foundation that Revolution used to have but discontinued in the US so I’d been looking for a comparable replacement and this was close enough. Less is more with this one. I like the finish, coverage and longevity. I felt so-so about the blush/highlighter duos and the eye shadow palettes were ok, good for the price. They make for decent travel palettes that I’m not upset if they get broken because they were so inexpensive. I want to try the black pencil liner and the black pen liner next as well as the liquid blushes. Those look beautiful! I just can’t drop $23 on the Rare Beauty blushes anymore even though they are really good. I want to try the lip gloss too. I like the opaque one that you tried. Such a pretty shade! I did try one of those liquid eyeshadows too and I did NOT like it at all! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I had the same experience as you did! 👎🏻 I wonder if the volumizing mascara is any good? Volumizing mascaras are my preference so I may try it out. Probably not yet though as I have too many in my collection to go through right now as it is! 😊 I wonder how the face powder, concealer palette and color correction palette look. 🤔It is all so inexpensive I don’t feel guilty trying a few things out even if they end up being bad lol. Who knows? Some hidden gems could be found! Also the hydrating primer looks interesting as well. 🤔

Yes, I have been raving about Believe Beauty’s Liquid bronzer for months. I love wearing it as a primer. It gives a perfect light bronze on the face. For a few days I kept looking in my car mirror thinking “why does my foundation look so good lately?” Then I realized, it’s that liquid bronzer! I love it! I bet it is a dupe for the Drunk Elephant bronzer, they look just alike

Thanks for reviewing these! One thing that struck me, though, is that all of the items seem to be really tiny - like sample size or deluxe samples. So even though each item is inexpensive, if the quantity is low, then cost per amount may not be less expensive than other brands.

I think it's probably best for people who like to try a lot of new makeup and don't tend to finish larger products up. They're definitely bigger than deluxe samples but not full sized either. :)

I just took a stroll through various lines: ELF has been increasing prices more than many other drugstore lines. The cream blushes started off at $5 - people went crazy. Now they are $7 - an astronomical increase in percentage. We should remember that “drugstore” prices have also climbed and in comparing prices compare apples to apples. The new L’Oréal mascara is $14-20 depending where you purchase. For the difference I will stick with the Chanel inimitable which has worked for me for years. It’s all relative.

You aren’t kidding about drugstore brands, my goodness I was in Walgreens the other night and everything I wanted was almost the exact same price as a department store make up and it just sort of rubbed me the wrong way I always knew of a cheater brand to get by when times were tight, but these aren’t brands that are helping me out anymore.. I’d rather spend a few more dollars and get the brand that I actually wanted with the better packaging !

I shall try the mascara. Tubing mascara is such a good idea, since I hate waterproof mascaras -most of them require a lot of products to be cleaned. Regarding the lid cream... I bought the shadow bomb from Revolution (the same group). First times were horrible. Finally my recipee if it can help : a good lid base, then put a nice quantity of the lid cream on your mobile lid with the applicator - on one eye only. Use a fluffy brush to spread the product over the mobile lid and the other one (I have hooded lids). Wait a couple seconds. Repeat on the other eye. It is tricky because we have been used with most lids cream to use only a small quantity. With the shadow bomb we have to be generous :-) Maybe the ingredients of Relove are quite different from Revolution, but I doubt it. The difference is rather in the packaging which is more elaborate, nicer than the Relove one. And i would recommend, if you want to add some powder lid colours : do it after the cream, when the cream is dry. The blush cream looks great, I shall buy it. Sorry for my broken english, this is not my first language. Thank you for your videos and your work, I appreciate.

17:06 I think you would prefer the foundation with A LOT less product, I feel like we have similar skin (very dry) and similar preferences and I absolutely love the foundation. I take maybe half a pipette and blend out with a sponge, I also love the hydration h20 primer from them too underneath it. I’ve tried it with a few different primers and it always lasts great so I wouldn’t place the longevity of the makeup on the primer alone, I’d love to hear an update after a few more wears 💕💕 x

Maybe try using that gold shadow w that small brush you have. Try laying down a thin layer. See if that helps. I love my L’Oréal liquid shadow in Amethyst Quartz, but it’s not cheap.

I'm kicking myself I was just at Walmart this evening and I saw these but I didn't recognize that it was the revolution brand. I had never seen Relove so I passed by but the one thing I noticed was but I did think they looked similar to elf products and I'm not a fan of Elf so it'll be nice to try some of these products. jen it's a shame the liquid shadows weren't decent you could see how pretty they were with the light on you in the car I thought everything was really good I'll look to see what I can get in the uk most of the prices over here are through the roof most of the cheaper make up is rubbish xx

Apply the liquid eyeshadow to the lid then use a fluffier blush to blend them. If you want more pigment, you can layer. A lot of liquid shadows don't do well with fingers, but a soft fluffier brush does the trick. Sometimes a flat concealer brush works too.

This is very informative. Thank you for reviewing for us! 💜 I'm definitely interested in the lip gloss in that shade. So hard to find a good pigmented gloss that actually works, is the right undertone for me, and is scented nicely. I've been cleaning out my lip products, and looking for replacements at affordable prices. This one looks better than the Butter gloss, which wears off quickly and lacks pigment. Does it feel like it hydrates your lips? That blush duo is really pretty too, I like the third one best✨

I actually love he liquid shadow in queen because I use it as a topper shade so I just kind of tapped it on and it looked gorgeous the other day when I tried it. I didn't want a complete opaque color so maybe try the other shade queen the way I did?

The lip tints are brilliant and the blushes too. I was expecting you giving ideas about how to apply that liquid eye shine, because like you have showed gets patchy. It is a shame because it is very beautiful . I have that colour and the green and both are so nice ! . The lip liners are very good too and this is Relove (the cheaper sister brand from Revolution) for all those who never listened from it before . And Revolution has very good products .... and very bad also. As every brand else, I guess. Just you need to know what to buy. Excellent video as usual !

The tone of the liquid shadow was so flattering on you, consider giving it another try when you’re wearing eyeshadow primer & use a synthetic flat brush ~ just to see if that might make a difference. 👍🎉🤩

That foundation gave great coverage. The blush looks lovely. The eyeshadow might be better as a sheer wash of color rather than a topper for powder shadow. Elf had some sheer shimmer cream shadows like that. I think they were part of their "Bare" line.

I am SO GLAD other brands will be filling in the spot ELF left when it started pretending to be HighEnd HighPrice. I'm excited to try Relove. For $3 to $5 a product, it can be my new "ELF." I spent quite a bit on ELF over the years, and I'll be glad to give my $ to Relove now. (I try not to buy ELF anymore. I try not to give my money to greedy A-holes) Peace Out.

Relove by Revolution has been in India for a while, & I’ve heard good things about their serum foundation, cheek tint ,matte bronzer ( might not have pale shades though) & blush+highlight duo. I’m so excited to see you testing it out since you’re so experienced with makeup quality from different price points. Also excited about their mascara being a tubing formula , we don’t have those kinds here! Mascara has always been my least favourite part of doing makeup, & ever since I heard about tubing formulas I’ve wanted to try them.
