21:56 This run was done with the re-recording fork of SNES9X v1.43, which didn't emulate the Cx4 chip particularly well. It's just a graphic glitch. 23:31 the controller at the bottom of the input display is #1, which is the input the games are being played with. Controllers 2-5 are just having fun making shapes and other such things. 23:55 back in 2007 I had been playing emulators with savestates and slowdown for quite a while. In that year, nitsuja's first TAS of Sonic 3 and Knuckles was what introduced me to the idea of "optimize your gameplay and make a video out of it."

I'd like to mention, the 2-5 input display was used at the beggening to introduce the TASer and thought the run they are used to tell the viewer when the items in each game are acquired.

Both serges and crystal snail use the same Cx4 sprite rotation effect, so it may be some sort of function you call with "0 draw saw, 1 draw serges, 2 draw shell" etc.. and this number got screwed.

0:36 Megamall x three is not in synce ,if you look at the x 1 and two videos theyre going at a straight path, but here's the thing ,if your using one controller for three games and the games have different level layouts that means you can t actually play them all at once because of button presses and timing between games.

I'm not surprised that X3's audio is dominating in this utter madness. X3 SNES audio is my least favorite of the three in a narrow way. Now, I love the tunes, but X3's audio is much... deeper, grindy, heavy overall. I actually get something of a headache listening to it, which doesn't happen with X1 and X2. It's not BAD music, but it is very INTENSE.
