Really good presentation. I remember during the ammo crunch a few years back, 308 and 5.56 (NATO) rounds were available, albeit more expensive. 30/06, which I have, was more difficult to obtain, at that point in winter/spring 2021. That was the case here in southern Maine, anyway.

What a stupid question the 308 is a very popular bullet and thousands of people hunt with them every year at the local Atwood's they had hundreds of boxes and sold out several times in this last season

Carlos used a 30 06

He did use a model 70 in 30-06 but he also used an M40 chambered in 308. Additionally he used a 50cal BMG but that’s another story. Fact is, he used both 308 and 30-06. Thanks for watching.

I never liked the recoil of a 30.06 I could shoot it but didn’t like it punished me

I am with you. I deer hunt with a 7mm-08 but the 30-06 has it's place. If I ever draw a moose tag, the 06 will be in the truck. Thanks for watching and have a great new year.
