The $1050 also came with LED dash / footwells ambient lighting & aftermarket holographic door logos. This is in Canada too so like $800 USD in your currency. Overall I have no complaints

It's fiber optics... there are only 5 light sources (possibly just 5 bulbs), from which all of the fibers connect. A "dead pixel" means one of the fibers got disconnected AND got far enough away from the light source that it no longer transmits any light to its tip, which is unlikely.

Yes you can do it anything that has a headliner just remove the headliner and drill holes depending on how many pieces is in the kit you get of fiber optic. You have to drill each hole manually and then run all the fiber cables through. You can hot glue them to keep them in but keep in mind it melts the fiber cables. I recommend just going for a 400 or 600 piece kit of fiber optic cable. Took me 3 days to do 400 in my mustang

It’s literally the same setup as any other fiber optic headliner kit. A bunch of fiber and a light source. You can get them from adrenaline off-road with the shooting star feature for like 600 bucks and do it yourself like I did

I did this before it was a trend on TikTok about 6 years ago and did it for about $150 for a higher quality kit. Will be getting a golf R in a couple of days and will be doing it once again on that. Takes a couple of hours to do and is definitely not worth $30k. If anyone here is blessed to get a rolls Royce, opt out of the fiber optic install, and spend it on some forgiatos or something.
