You should build an rc car that runs on compressed air! You could use some of your old engines to test it.

I might do that, my old engines are likely not powerful enough. I'd need a new design!

Liking the new video styles! One thing you should try is making a really small and efficient air engine, then running it off of your compressor!

The central locking on old Audis was vacuum based. Used to make an odd moaning noise when you locked it. A vacuum solenoid might be a bit of neat retro-tech to try out.

You could make a vacuum chamber to pull air bubbles out of epoxy resin before pouring.

This is very nice on how it can withstand those insanely high vaccum pressures without the o rings coming off or without the plastic breaking in the piston
@CamdenBowen
@CamdenBowen Жыл бұрын
Part of the advantage of a vacuum system is that since the pressure is greater outside than inside, that means the pressure outside pushes all of the vaskets and other components together with more force so technically using this as a vacuum pump should withstand more pressure

It's possible, but since it doesn't draw a huge amount of vacuum it may require some waiting for the air to be drawn out

Awesome awesome video! Btw your microphone is consistently clipping the preamp, to fix this lower the preamp next time you’re recording and then simply bring up the volume in post production. Cheers

Taurrozi pendulum mechanism? For an air engine? Should reduce total friction. Could bend a tube to get the toroidal cylinder. Could also get an opposing piston running. Just a weird thought.

soo really nice concept but what if you make a bigger piston and a longer cylinder like 30 to 40 mm wide that would increase the chamber and volume and would produce more air/vacuum... And also how can you make that in to a working pressure washer it is kinda the same idea but a lot different

can you create perfect vacuum by adding enough cylinders? for example if you were to create mighty V8 compressor and try to lead the tubes from one to another or maybe pairs of pistons to reach better vacuum? might be a great video idea

Piston pumps aren't really great below about 5 mbar at best, that's where oil sealed pumps come in to play such as rotary vane pumps which can easily reach under 0.1 mbar

Something u should do is in infinite energy source see if u take the exhaust side of the compressor and make it go Into an air tank that's full of pressure and take the intake and put it at the other end so the air passes through the tank only one way it will push air into the intake of the compressor and the compressor will push air out into the tank w hich goes back into the intake so it continues over and over again and never ends and it makes free electricity if u hook an electric motor that generates electricity to the axle
@blingblingdog6958
@blingblingdog6958 Жыл бұрын
The real world doesn’t work like that. Energy is only transferred, not created or destroyed. The system would loose energy to friction, which turns it into heat. Many people have attempted perpetual motion and have never succeeded. The videos of “infinite energy” or “free energy” are fake and use tricks to make it seem like it is real.
