I've done some math for you. There are 890 total pins you can get (including the x2 bonus for strikes). If you get the first 8 strikes and miss the last two by 1 each, you'll get 719. If you get the last four strikes but miss the first six by 1 each, you'll get 729. So, there are other combinations that work too, but you essentially either need to get the first 8 strikes or the last 4.

(Don't have the full mathematical formula to calculate this for any lvl without knowing the previous amount of pins, but thats how i would do it in code) So its: Level 1 = 10 pins Level 2 = 15 Level 3 = 21 Level 4 = 28 Level 5 = 36 Level 6 = 45 Level 7 = 55 Level 8 = 66 Level 9 = 78 Level 10 = 91 Sum = 445 Add Strike multiplier of 2 = 890. Edit: I thought about it more, and for level n the formula is: 10 + ((n - 1) * 3) + ((n(n + 1) / 2) -1) = sum of pins. Not pretty by any means but it works.

I've platinumed this one actually! It's quite easy. Bounce the ball OFF of the barricade at the right angle, and you have a good chance of hitting strikes.

As someone who spent ENTIRELY too much time perfecting his craft at this game, and who has named his KZbin account after such, here are my tips for Poof to get this platinum: Try to hit the head pin (red pin) offset to the right side on the first three shots (10, 15, and 21 pins). The remaining shots, you can either hook into the head pin or throw it straight and hard like you had been doing toward the end of the video, but still try to hit the head pin offset to the right just a smidge, but not too far right. On the very last shot, go for the right-side rail instead of the left since your player is right-handed and therefore releases the ball a tiny bit offset to the right side of the mii’s body. Also, the zoom feature can help if you use it to fine-tune your aim. Hope this helps!

How to get plat (based on my experience playing this mode and comments I’m seeing): 1. The first couple frames are not that important so play thru 2. U can watch videos on the set ups to be able to strike (nearly) every time. Usually this involves aiming it at the right point on the bumper and letting it bounce to middle 3. Final frame is free (and basically necessary for plat) if u set it up right which isn’t hard. Go right side instead of left and angle it how u have been. This is bc ur natural curve is slight left and ur ball will be right over the rail since ur right handed. Increases chance of staying on the rail and pushing the button.

I found this video and it inspired me to try training modes for bowling cuz ive been playing wii bowling lately. I got platinum on it a few games in with 714 and now im trying to improve my score tonight. To be fair ive been trying to bowl a perfect game in it for months so im a little dialed in. I think the trick with the multi pin stuff is the spin, first five throws I do a normal throw with spin from the far left circle then the last five ive been moving over to the left arrow, rotating the line to the middle arrow, and then moving that rotated line to hiver over the middle arrow then throwing the ball with a left spin

I looked up perfect games in Power Throws, and no idea if that's the best strat, but the dude who did a perfect game always went a little to the right, even on the first frame, and threw the ball doing a curve to the middle to hit the red pin.

to let you know, the event is called Power Throws for a reason. with racks of that many pins, the way they'll fall is unpredictable. you can blast the pocket; there's still a good chance it's not a strike. but your chances get better the faster the ball is moving - more energy means more propagation means more pins reliably fall in those giant sets. so you don't want to be moonballing at all. you want perfect technique so that the ball is moving as fast as possible on contact.

The difference between Wii Sports and Resorts is, that the latter uses Wii Motion Plus, which is waaay more acurate and all, but the former doesn't and instead tricks and predicts what you wanna do etc. - Hence the sometimes really weird behavior

Youve probably already looked this up, but i did the math Striking frames 6-10 gets you 670 points (thats with the x2 multiplier). Assuming you dont get zero pins on the first 5, that will push you over 700 So you dont need to bail until at least frame number 6 Hope this helps!

Actually, mathing a bit further shows that if you get good enough hits on the first 6 frames (being 1 short on all 6 puts you at 149 points), you only need to strike the last 4. Those 4 strikes will earn you 580, putting your maximum at 729. So new conclusion, you dont need to bail until at least frame 7!

Late to the party here but i have an opinion. The ssue is it only happens once in a large amount of throws. Out of 2000 throws on wii sports bowling (4000) if you could the amount of throws on resort bowling in the same mode in my household it has happened once and I fully believe that the game is coded to only allow it on that one rare occurrence because you can repeat the same angle with the same timing and same technique and it fails big time
