Fun Fact: Another reason why they decided to have to Eagle attack Noa the first time he sang the song was so that the Eagle could wound him and take a chick of hair out of Noa’s chest hair. We do this all the time in film. Knowing that Noa will soon be placed into the kingdom with tons of other Apes, he will need to have a marking that will set him apart, so the audience could identify him easier. So on the journey to find his clan, they allowed the audience to get use to him look with the missing patch of fur.

I’m pretty sure he didn’t go to the valley beyond. Dad thought he did because of the echo smell on the blanket. The valley is beyond the tunnel and Noah didn’t cross it

I’m pretty sure raka and Noah never actively nova up until the deer pond scene, nova just followed Noah like a lost puppy until raka notices and he helps Noah introduce himself later on that night. Then she rides the horse with raka after that night, they come across the pond, nova misses humans, Noah tries to leave then “ceasar’s” apes show up. That’s when they actually save her, that’s also when Noah finds out she can speak

You missed the whole part on the bridge and when raka fucking dies💀💀 or supposedly dies, he kinda just gets washed away by the river. If he doesn’t return, that shit was a horrible death scene then

it was so bad I didn't even remember it. That's the beauty of immediately reviewing a film when you can't just go back and watch the scenes easily. You really get to see what sticks, and for good reason.

@@Stark-Cinema yeah no, totally understandable. I was writing my own review and was having trouble remembering the correct order in scenes from the movie. I was half asleep and couldn’t wait another day to watch it, so I get it. Your video and humor was still enjoyable and I’m glad there’s someone’s who’s somewhat in the middle “not a bad film but nothing special either “ is what I got from you. And yeah that’s how I felt, it’s a great start for Noah and a worthy sequel but as a movie in itself is pretty okay but not anything like ceasars beginning.

'Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes' is a nothing film, nothing actually happens that is new, or interesting. So, after 300 years - some apes now like eagles...a lot. There is another ape clan, that really like red fabric and rusty ships. Plus they want to get inside a vault for reasons... The vault is the main focus of this film, everybody wants in. It is awkward when the primary focus of a film is erased with water and means nothing anymore by the end. Mae is an oddly unreactive character, she doesn't actually do anything - her only skill is that she knows a secret entrance into a vault. She left a secret human facility with a team to get to this vault, but I'm not sure what her plan was once they reached Caesar Proximus city? Trevathan is a disheartened human who assists Apes, he develops technology for the Apes. Apparently he broke his ankles, and Caesar Proximus rescued him so as to use him - it's a bit odd. But we don't get anything interesting here from Trevathan. At least have an astronauts helmet in his cell, a hint that Trevathan might actually be an astronaut. But this film seemed reluctant to take any chances or any risks at all, and after 2hours and 30minutes we end up with, pretty much what we started with - monkeys playing with eagles.

I see a lot of your points with plot holes in the movie, but your box office prediction is a miscalculation. I only saw the Franco movie in the theater and the movies that came afterwards streaming, maybe even DVD, but Kingdom had me excited to go see it opening weekend.

I believe the whole point of the egg being so easily broken while being on the apes chest is to teach the ape how to properly protect the egg and themselves while moving around. I took as like when we got those fake babies in school and if you didn’t take care of it you failed type of situation. Because they were freaking out that he wouldn’t be able to “pass” remember?

I'm not a clown my friend. I went to see the movie. I took notes. The movie never EVER made any real justification for this. This was an assumption made by Mr. Bandit and his head canon which is fine. But if you think clearly on this subject instead of listening to who ever spoke last: Is it worth the risks if these eggs are seen as precious above all? Why would the tribe not devise a safer way of raising the eagles? Mother eagles don't have to carry eggs around all day so why should the apes? Stop tossing insults and think for a minute that both of us can have points that are based on different logic. Holy shit. KZbin commenters are so quick to judge.

right, but not even a mother eagle does this. She leaves them in safety in a nest. She does not fly around with eggs strapped to her chest. the logic is stupid. I understand where it comes from but it's not worth the risk.

The group at the end didn’t send may she was a part of another group that was killed by proximus Caesars soldiers… but totally unclear if her group had communication with them I’m guessing yes because how would she know exactly what they needed or what it looked like or how to get in

I love the trilogy. And this was a disgrace to tht. First off Caesar is basically their Jesus. How tf Noah doesn’t know who he is? And his character is pretty lifeless n just too normal. Very flat. He doesn’t even seek to avenge his dad’s death. The girl was really cringe. Humans are supposed to be so low there honestly shouldn’t be any humans in the movie. Unless they’re slaves. But she knows everything and knows what to do with technology even tho humans haven’t been intelligent in centuries. She’s just a hidden mary Sue she was so smart knew everything n saved the day. The villain wasn’t really a villain. He really didn’t do anything evil. Look how the girl was moving. If imma ape I wouldn’t trust her either. His muscle was more menacing and did more damage. Then he died with really no pay off. Noah isn’t really a character to root for. Very empty. Apes are supposed to be superior now yet they’re just apes tht talk. Thts it. Horrible movie. 2/10.

They are definitely running out but this movie is not an example of that. It’s an example of them taking an idea and making their own story to expand on that.
