Man I forgot how dark the KZbin videos of these early versions were. You can't see a thing when he's in the darker areas.

It's up to you guys but I know in some versions of the 404 challenge you could use redstone torches so you could see since back then they didn't emit enough light to prevent spawns.

Believe it or not, mushroom stew was added to the game before farming and even before furnaces iirc. It’s been around a long time.

NOSTALGIA Got old school minecraft just hit different, better atmosphere, better lighting (though without smooth lighting) better fog, better textures, better colours. Old minecraft was a game, a true video game. New minecraft seems to want to be real life, washed out, dim, dull and bloated with a million unnecessary blocks and mechanics. Even on low brightness its still bright at night, the fog is now just a wall of un-vision

Talk about nostalgia! And it's funny how remembering how the game used to work is a hindering issue this time. I do gotta say, the darkness is ROUGH though.

Until it's fixed, I turned on accessibility settings to make my audio mono

Oh good thought. I was having to temporarily change the stereo balance and then boost volume because the right channel has such low volume and even then it's noticeable. Update: AMAZING. That made 100% difference and now I can listen without a sense of terrible unease, haha. Thank you!

My guess is as in typical fashion they recorded X episodes worth of video in one session so probably won't get fixed for a few episodes at least. But good tip for us poor headphone users lol

@@byrd3242 Guude could easily "fix" the audio in editing on all unpublished episodes by just making it mono. No need to wait until they record more episodes.

Wasnt it a thing back in the day that items would appear on top of the block when you filled it a hole, but you had to dig it back out to pick up the item down in the hole?

In my experience yes, most of the time. On occasion it would let you get it without digging it out, but rarely.
