@Dracobyte15 күн бұрын
How so?
@AppleGreenmusic15 күн бұрын
@Dracobyte no game on the console required the analog stick and any of the inputs of the left side of the controller at the same time. The N64 controller was designed to allow for dedicated 2D and 3D game grips. 6 buttons + 2 for 2D. 6 buttons + 2 for 3D If you ever heard anyone say they prefer a Dualshock over an Xbox controller because they prefer to have their thumb hover over a dpad or a stick by default, that is LITERALLY what the N64 controller was designed for. If you play Tetris, Tetrisphere, Kirby 64, Puzzle League, Puzzle Bobble, Dr Mario, mischief makers, Bangai-O and many other 2D games such as fighting games or shmups on N64, the controller allows you to hold it in a way that feels ergonomically right for the dpad. And it Is a good dpad, pretty much a more refined snes pad. Fighting games feel objectively better on N64 than Dreamcast despite the latter being hailed as an improvement in every single way. The only objective problem is the stick degrading.
