The 440 EVL a durable long lasting saw.

Japanese excellent saw. Dull chain this day. Wish I had a longer bar and a sharp chain. The saw could need new diaphragm ... to start quicker. But it always start... and when warmed up...it does great. I think this would go good with 20 inch even...because it is quit powerful. Not know the HP, but has 44,3 cc. Japanese perfectionism. I love that saw. It is like Japanese Toyota Hiace...you trust it :-) There was strong winds...and some trees fall down in the back yard...
