Why is everyone in the comment section tripping over these laws? What did u guys expect? These are the laws of POWER. You don’t get to have power by being a nice guy to everyone you meet. It’s a jungle out there and you have to at least arm yourself.

If u look carefully at these 48 laws they r all not for a regular person each law has its own specific role and conditions which most of us will never face. So the trick is take the laws that u think would fit in ur life circumstances and learn them not to manipulate others but to identify other's attempts of manipulating you and thereby making yourself invisible to any harm and work effectively towards success. These laws are more for defence tactics than attack tactics.

@@ogexotics7959 By stating regular person , it could mean people who know to serve & recieve (those who are able to reciprocate , have learned empathy because not every child is born empathetic & can practice kindnesses or compassion if not conditioned during it's early days of developement ) By regular person means people without antisocial behavioral problems or who have pathologically manipulative conditions as seen in psychological & psychiatric diagnosis of Narcissistic personality disorders, psychopathy & sociopathic disorders. Condition such as autism ,people with poor communication & disabilities also have poor social skills & could get percieved as antisocial or manipulative when they try to adapt using alternative behaviors. Empowerment & Defensiveness against manipulative personalities is good yet not a form of adaptation to pass on existing trauma or a form of misusing ones intelligence. This is something we could care about.

@@missmack2328 Most people who have written works like 48 Laws of Power (like Machiavelli) don't do so to teach people how to take control. They are merely telling us how things tend to get done *in order to be able to protect ourselves against these very tactics* . Anyone who truly subscribed to and enacted these laws for their own reasons probably wouldn't write about it as that is only providing ammunition to their rivals. By writing it all into such a widely acclaimed book, he is laying the tactics bare for all to see, so that they too may know in future when such is used in their surroundings or against them.

Let me add Law 49: When faced by someone who implemented one of those laws to control you then ask them: where did you learn this tactic from? This is because today everyone know those laws and seem to apply them on each others and that create a huge pool of liars, cheaters and fools around you. BTW: I have read this book couple of years ago and I see people implement them on everyone. I learned them to expose how others think, not to control others - because I don't need to control anyone - controlling oneself must be the ultimate goal of everyone. Those who attempt to control others when they don't know how to control themselves sound and look very much like fool and we have tons of them. BTW: I have exposed thousands of corrupt individuals just by reading this book.

Reminder: These are laws of “Power”. Not laws on how to live your personal life. Reminder: Most people don’t think like leaders and that is why there are more workers than owners. More workers than managers. So a worker mind will not understand how to gain power over people. A worker mind will not understand the relevance these laws have to transition to a good manager or owner. This lesson is great. I ❤️ it. Ive found through my own experience of failures that these laws work to manage people effectively and gain respect as a leader. I agree with all the laws except maybe 2. WOW!!!!

When you use these tricks others will lose confidence in you, it's unavoidable - there are always questions to answer and people checking - power can be lost. Illegimite power is very unstable and it is always under attack so it doesn't stay. You will lose your reputation and more than one will revenge using the tricks against you. At some point you will bite the dust. With these evil ways, the weakness of the doctrine is that it's every man for himself, anyone can put a bullet to your head from behind. And the so called satisfaction from this kind of power is fake and linked with the darkest emotions on Earth: guilt, emptyness, shame, loss of belief in anything, seeing, doing, living horror, pain, remorse, impossibility to love and be loved, ect. Someone using the same amount of energy but with white principles instead of black principles will get real and lasting confidence from others and will get much more cooperation and synergy from a greater number of people, gathering greater active, constructive forces. This system give access to true happiness and true love, faith in human kind. Freedom instead of slavery. Think of Nelson Mandela.

This is basically a guide on how to become a sociopath EDIT: My comment wasn't actually meant to be serious but a lot of sociopaths will and have probably been pulled to the dark side by this book. Nonetheless, it has helped people overcome the constraints of power in tenfold, just like any weapon can either be used to harm or protect, most harm-do-ers already have weapons of their own so why not arm yourself to prepare for them? I stand in the middle of this ultimatum, using this book not to protect myself or harm people, but to fight the evil using it too. And thank you for all the likes, for 2 years I had no idea this comment blew up so much haha.

This is a great book for empaths, in that, it deciphers the intentions of people. I listen to this book daily to ween people off. Never to do them harm, of course, but only to remind me to look out for myself and keep it that way. I've become more vigalant, much more quiet, and way more observant. Great book!

I know many people will take advantage of you and maybe u are tired of them but believe me if ur heart is pure god is gonna help u by showing u something. We have a very short time in this world. Maybe it will be our friends, family members, business partners .. etc. some people wants to control our mind so they can accomplish their goal through us which is against gods will. They use Seduction and manipulation. Personally praying and fasting helped me to be my self.

@jacobjones6763
@jacobjones6763 4 жыл бұрын
@Souleth What it seems like is that you don't understand the word. Narcissists' lack of empathy makes unethical actions like lying, cheating, stealing, manipulation, and deception come naturally with their faulty cognitive processes. As long as they can achieve a benefit, they believe whatever they have to do to achieve it is justified. Naturally, they unconsciously or consciously gravitate towards Machevellian ethics where the end justifies the means. This book is a direct derivative of Machiavelli's work, but it is more beneficial because it lays out specific laws to employ the ethical system.

@Souleth "I suppose you watched this video with it on mute and your eyes closed" What an incredibly insightful sentence. Not only is it blatantly dumb, but it produces zero value for the point you're trying to make. However, I recognize it as a low-effort attempt to discredit Hasan Z.
@jacobjones6763

@Souleth "This creates individuals so far from narcissism." While I proved this to undoubtedly false, you provided zero evidence to support your baseless claim.
@jacobjones6763

@Souleth "I don’t think you understand the word." From what I've read, it sounds like you don't do much thinking. If you're going to claim something, the burden of proof is on you to demonstrate your point. If you don't think Hasan Z understands what narcissism is, then you need to demonstrate that you have a better understanding. All three of your sentences are word garbage.
@jacobjones6763
@jacobjones6763 4 жыл бұрын
@Souleth Imagine being so blatantly dumb that you make a second failed attempt to construct a decent thought. I first read the book in 2012 and have read it two more times since. Whatever information in the video is irrelevant to what I already have read. I suggest picking it up or just reading in general. It may help you break through the superficial plane of intelligible thinking that you seem to be stuck in.

Now I'mma say this. I was astonished when I first read this book. It opened my mind up in a way to that I wanted to see more thru other ppl and my own past situations to see my own mistakes. Robert Greene is right spot on. I've become a better person because now I understand why ppl do what they do. Things don't surprise me anymore or get me upset. He'll I'mma beat u at your own game. Counter attack by me knowing your intentions. Which means I'm also a part of this mind game. And I'm cool with that. I play it better than u thanks to Robert Greene. We all human and play this shit. The 1st time I ever seen and read this book I was in jail and was told by many other inmates as well as the guy who lent it to me that it's the opposite of the bible pretty much. He was right and I was living naturally like this. Since I changed I was not getting locked up. Think about what I just posted. In JAIL was the 1st I seen it. Now I just keep in mind the evil that makes people like this and stay away from them.

I've lived through most of this and continue to do so. These hacks are actually what come to you as you get older. If you can master some in relative youth? Even better but that's often a rare combination. This is also why you also need a bit of relative solitude. Time away from the noise. To think and plot. Only other observation is that there doesn't always have to be an enemy. Its interesting to have one to practice on perhaps but modern life doesn't necessarily lend itself to adversarial contact in the more obvious way. Often because your circle may not be full of competitive people. One other massively important aspect is emotional control. Never let it be obvious what you are thinking or feeling. Whilst also being able to deploy a vanilla demeanor. Always mentally prepare for how you might withstand bad news. You mother/father/child died. All likely or possible outcomes. Will it totally shred your emotional being? You need to build reserves of strength for when bad news comes as it invariably will. The journey continues.

I read this book yesterday, and it was only yesterday that I found out. When I read this book, after 21 years of reading anyone's book, I went and laid down on the bed. Couldn't get away from me. This book shattered my hope of success 100%. I couldn't control my crying for 37 hours. How and why would someone do this to someone? My life has been 98% wrong, according to this book. This may be why I have not been successful. My heart cried, but there was no change in my courage and enthusiasm. When I go on the internet and read everyone's comments, my soul sends love and blessings to all of you. May God give you all happiness and peace. I love you all very much, and thanks to the internet, I can send love to you all.

I love this audiobook so much that I listen to it repeatedly to absorb it until it's part of my DNA...lol😂. Kidding aside, things I liked, - NEW PARADIGM after listening the 48 laws, you will never see the world the same way again. once you understand some of these laws you will see many underlying currents and motives you did not see before. - INCREASES POWER you wil become exponentially more powerfull by knowing and understanding these laws -CRYSTAL CLEAR every law is clearly outlined with "transgression" of the law, "observance" of the law, keys to power, and a "reversal" -GREAT STORIES the 48 laws are packed with mindblowing and sometimes humorous stories of people in history practicing these laws. this is helpful as some of the concepts are quite abstract. WARNING: -RISKY (if you're not careful) an old proverb says " A man who plays with snakes will eventually be bitten". If you begin to use the 48 Laws improperly, you could get yourself in some dangerous situations, lose friends, piss off a lot a people, and destroy relationships - REQUIRES DISCERNMENT if you you are looking for a highly concrete book that the says "do abc and you will accomplish xyz" look elsewhere. the Laws require good judgement and and and prospecting nature to practice and apply -NOT FOR EVERYONE If you are aghast at the idea of manipulation and deceit then read with caution. OVERALL: If you want to have more power or a better understanding of why different situations turn out the the way they do, you should definitely read the 48 laws of power by Robert Greene. Some reviews labeling Robert Greene as evil don't understand. First, to understand the 48 laws of power, you must know two key ideas 1. you CAN NOT escape the power game. thinking you can "not participate" is as foolish as thinking that you could somehow escape gravity or make the sun stand still. Robert Greene explains why in the intro with some excellent examples 2. the 48 laws of power are neither good nor evil; they are just LAWS. If someone pushed a man off a cliff would you blame gravity for for his demise? This is the mindset you must adopt in order to learn a lot from this book. Robert Greene gave me my "3rd eye" and I am very grateful. To show my gratefulness, I bought 4 Books Set By Robert Greene .The Concise Laws of Human Nature, The Concise Mastery, The Concise 48 Laws Of Power & The Concise Art of Seduction for only $41 at Amazon. I can't wait to read it. The brilliance of Robert Greene reminds me of Jordan Peterson.
