His Ram's defense was first in the league against the pass, 1st in scoring, and was considered a top defense with him as the defensive coordinator. I don't know that he isn't awful or washed, but 49er players didn't think so. People just repeat what they hear on podcasts as truth.

Thank you Grant!!!! If it weren't for you, the Coach, Jesse and Ryan putting the social media pressure on this might not have happened. To the so-called 49er fans who keep lambasting Grant as being a hater, you're the same ppl who will accept mediocrity as excellence...this organization's true greatness was built with Eddie D, Walsh, etc on realistic, intelligent, knowledgeable ownership and coaching. While we may never reach those heights again, those of us who recognize when an organization has intelligent staff can clearly see that Shanahan/Lynch do not have the gravitas to take us there.
