I think the difference between a mausoleum and a shrine would be that a mausoleum could be for anyone, but a shrine is a venerated/holy place. For example for a saint.

excusez moi..mai je vous corrige le kairouan n'est pas la 4 éme ville sainte...ni le mosqué est le 4 éme mosquée sainte...le meilleur mosqué est celle de la mecque ....aprés le mosquée de la medine et le 3 éme c'est le mosquée d'al aqsa a jerusalem.....toute les autres mosqués sont kif kif.....
