Which is the best month to go to dog mountain?

I'd recommend May! Dog Mountain requires parking permits in the wildflower season because it's so popular, so make sure to keep an eye out for the reservations to go live. The dates vary from year to year, but last year they were April 23 - June 12, which reflects when the flowers are expected to be their best. A cool resource for wildflower timing in general is the NW Wildflowers Bloom Map (nwwildflowers.com/map/). Zoom in on the circle for the place you're interested in, and it'll show you a heat map of when the flowers are usually their best. Have a great hike!
