I personally play loki and my absolute favorite thing to do with him is stack 2 clones on top of eachother then stand behind them i call it the firing squad cause if my team needs heals, boom they are full health, an enemy looks at me and boom over 200 dps shot straight at them plus I can heal the clones if they get low with the domain

Interesting strategy. I really enjoy playing Loki, but I stick to Quick Match with him because I like having more mobility. He packs a wallop, but with the ten second cooldown per doppelganger you're kinds stuck where you place them. I find I like playing him when defending the cart or on King of the Hill maps.

There is another playstyle I have yet seen or heard Wolverine players mention. That is protect your healers. Wolverine has moves that displace the enemy. If you seen someone jump on your healer you can tackle them away. This is how I play him since I'm not as technical with him as other people.

This is a great strategy when your strategists are being flanked by dive Vanguards like Venom, Cap and Hulk. Wolverine eats Vanguards for breakfast, but he's not great against "squishies" (an Overwatch term for duelists and strategists aka non-Vanguards with small health pools). I like the idea of leaping on dive duelists and pulling them into the frontline so you have teammates to help you take them down. The Vanguards just pull them off to the side and crush them. Either way as a strategist main I promise we massively appreciate it anytime teammates peel.

I honestly figured less people would want to play healers than the tanks, but once I started playing ranked, I saw how few tanks we get. Im not high ranked by any stretch of the imagination, only gold 2, but I only see another person playing a vanguard like every 15 games or so. I always play one just because no one else does, but I've played like 10 matches where the enemy team doesn't even have one. It seems crazy to me that no one sees how important it is to be tanky considering how important it is to sit your ass on a point or a cart for the whole game.

Also you shouldn’t be sitting on cart the ‘whole’ game as a tank. You should be making more space further than the cart but not too far

Ppl hate tank cuz you’re a slower human punching bag and really depend on supports to stay alive. Some ppl also tend to blame tanks for losses so it’s a thankless job.

I like playing tank but always get teamed up with players who don't support or just hide all the way in the back and expect me to take on the whole enemy team by myself

Helpful tip: You should most definitely not be sitting on the objective the entire time. Your job as a Vanguard is to make space, protect your team, and survive. Also in case you weren’t aware, the moving objectives continue to move automatically once your team has control of it. It DOES however, move faster the more people are on it, max of 4. Any more, and the speed does not increase. Which even further enforces the goal of making space, as you can leave a Strategist and Dualist (or any two that can provide assistance from range or anchor until your team comes back for heals before reengaging) on the cart while you push forward. GM player btw.

Good Peni parker is actually one of the hardest vanguard to fight with Wolverine. She can shoot web on wolverine to make him stationary and land her mines near her to make a trap for wolverine jumping on her mines. Also she can quick escape with her web away from Wolverine.

I played Luna in low ranks because your teammates are rarely going to play correctly and her healing is the best in the game. You can win a lot of fights you should've lost with excellent healing from Luna. She also holds her own in the damage department and her Ultimate holds your team together for 11 very long seconds. That said, if there's an Iron Man or Storm in the air wreaking havoc and your duelists aren't dealing with them, Adam Warlock is hitscan and can take out the flyers. You can hit them with Luna, but it's easier charging up a shot with Adam Warlock. Also Iron Man can pulse bomb your Luna Snow Ultimate, but if Iron Man hits your team and you're Adam Warlock, you can revive them with your Ult.

Luna's Ult needs to charge slower, she gets it too often and can give teams immortality like 3 to 4 times a game its insane.
