Can you talk about the risks of FINTECH companies such as Wealthfront. After researching and seeing the disgrace that happened to YATTA. There seems to be some differences but both still a FINTECH. Can you clarify? Would it still be part of your list if there were dangers of FDIC not stepping in for Fintech middle man failing? 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thank you for mentioning this, It's definitely terrible what happened and is a very important topic to understand. Although risk seems much lower for wealthfront, I will research more into this as I don't know enough to answer your question exactly.

With accounts that offer the "bucket" feature, does the interest count for each bucket separately, or does it add the total for all the money as a whole?
@DannySully20 күн бұрын
They all range but I believe this is how each works in regards to interest for each bucket, someone please correct me if anything is wrong: SoFi is paid to each vault. Ally is you set one default bucket to get the interest. Wealthfront is the entire cash account, not each bucket. My Banking Direct doesn't allow buckets. Capital One is the entire savings account, not each bucket. Hope this helps!

Yes sr. But you are supposed to deposit about $5000 monthly to get that yield. Don't you?
@DannySully23 күн бұрын
That is one option. You could also set up your paycheck with your employer, which does not need to be $5,000. The amount can be anything with this. Another option is a side hustle like door dash, Uber, shipt, or any other way you can get “officially”paid money. Does that make sense? The $5,000 is only if you do regular cash deposits, direct deposit with an employer can be any amount.
