Every game in this list (apart from Classic Sonic Sim and R-echarged) uses the Digital Swirl engine, which is the exact engine used to make Sonic Onset Adventure. Speed Simulator is a heavily modified version, and Pyrite Adventure 3's was modified with help from DigitalPurgatory (One of the devs who made SOA) It's definitely one of the best roblox sonic engines out there, so I am glad a lot of games use it. (Also, Classic Sonic Simulator is basically 1:1 classic physics as Vyriss used SonicRetro's Physics guide to get it right)

SSS doesnt use digital swirl, it came out a whole year before the engine ever went public. It would be a huge surprise if it actually did considering the differences to how the physics work between the two

sonic speed sim dosent use digital swirl, you can tell by how the game dosent really let you run ACROSS loops, as in you're in kind of an automated path in loops, run on the narrow new yoke paths for a better understanding

Ever thought of the fact that the automated loops was a part of the modification? If you played the original SSS you could see that it was very similar, as the Reborn update was what gave the heavy modification.

Fun fact: while pyrite adventure 2 has a homing attack, you can almost beat it without it. Literally the only stage you can't be beaten without the homing attack is the final boss

Sonic R-echarged also has Mighty and Ray now. You race them both at the same time when collecting all the medals in Radiant Emerald (another new TJ Davis plays during this character race). Mighty’s ability is the drop dash which is super fun inside R’s levels.

Sonic Speed Sim is actually pretty good with robux in comparison to some other games, because every character at some point had an event to earn them for free, so theoretically somebody thats been playing since launch could have every single character and only be missing out on some upgrades and the exclusive paid pets (in which the best pets can also be earned free of charge)

Did they nerf sunset town in R-echarged?, that slope just before the section in the sky used to be a series of tall steps that you needed to take several springs to get up and essentially made characters with good vertical mobility necessary to win

I have played Sonic Speed Simulator since about 4 weeks after it became public, eventually the game got very tedious, so I never played it again. And grinding for characters was very tedious, taking up to 4 hours or even more, I don't know how it is currently but it was not fun to get skins before.

To be clear about SSS and how they do things, they only add things if they get permission from SEGA. No adding dead characters or fan creations lile exe. Plus the game isn't ending anytime soon since gamefam and SEGA extended the leash (ala gamefams rights to the sonic property) and the dev team likes to work on the game, which good for them.
