I’ve heard of knitters when using interchangeable circulars and knitting flat, put the recommended needle on the side that is going to knit the knits and put a smaller needle on the side of the cord that will be knitting/sizing the purls. That way you aren’t drastically changing your gage, just neatening up your purls. Hope this helps

Hi Bobbi- I’m down in south Florida and you have inspired me to use more cotton based fiber choices…I really hadn’t used those types of yarn before, but now I do!!! And it’s like a whole new world for me!!!!! So many of my knits (all the wools) sit in my closet on display until I can wear them a couple days in the winter and when we go on vacation (we usually go to colder places since we live in such a warm climate). Hello Cari! I know what you mean! Cotton yarns are a whole new world! About a year ago, I was watching An Italian Knitter podcast. youtube.com/@anitalianknitter?si=VuGm4kNgpooXu0ut Francesca was always knitting with Sandnes Garn Line yarn. She even knits her long sleeve sweaters with the Line yarn so that told me this must be a great cotton yarn. It is so hard to find a good cotton yarn. I always come away feeling inspired after watching your podcasts. So many lovely patterns and yarn choices. I have been interested in trying the linen quill for quite a while, but have worried that it might be too scratchy. The rosewood colour is beautiful though, so might have to give it a try.

I can’t wait to try some of these. I wish I wish I was rich enough to afford all the linens and silks but when you knitting in 3X to 5X it takes a lot of yarn. I particularly like anything with the high neck because I have a open heart surgery scar
