30% weighted squat jumps & the 10m flies (just got to figure out how I'm going to time myself). Maybe holding a stop watch as I run will be good practice for staying relaxed, just like the potato chip technique.

Those tips/exercises are really good. Simple and effective! No BS! My favourite (strength) exercise are the basics but with Isoinertial/flywheel resistance not gravitational resistance.

I love your content. I coach H.S. pole vaulters. I have 10 for the spring but just 2 soph girls in winter track right now. I've been working with them to increase their speed and have been using short/ low rep sprints with rest between but I'm going to implement this video tomorrow and the other one I just watched of yours. Would doing normal deadlifts explosively be beneficial? If so what percent of body weight should you deadlift for explosiveness?

yes it's called high pulls. Basically olympic lifting without the catching. Very effective to build explosive strength. especially single leg high pulls!

its not broad jumps your doing; it hopping. hopping is important but you're not doing them correctly. you cant stop between them. you have to string them together. these are related to plyos but serious plyos. the point of doing plyos, as well as hopping, skipping, bounding, jumping is, with each hop or step, you bounce off the ground without touching the ground. get it. don't think about it just do it. you really should stop doing these videos until you know what your talking about, because you're setting people up for failure by spreading false and inaccurate information. really
