Dating apps are especially hard for older lesbians who have no time or interest in dealing with all the fakes, scammers, game-players, catfishers, sexual experimenters, bi/hetero players, etc. Also, once someone sees that you're over 65, if they're not a catfisher, likely you'll be deleted. You may be really attractive and a great person, but age is a deal-breaker for many. I hate ageism, but that's the reality. And it's a more harsh reality on dating apps than in real life. I agree with the lies mostly but the dating app one is sadly true, not saying that it’s impossible but there a ton of inactive, non responsive or catfishy people on there sadly, sure it’s good to have Profile up with your insta just in case but don’t expect too much from them, and no, it has absolutely nothing to do with your looks gorgeous! I can say it kinda is. Just depends who you come in contact with. The wrong ones are just an indication that you have not found your right type yet and have no boundaries. There are nice women out there it's just soo hard to make yourself go out there because at the 1st glance I wouldn't put up with stupid stuff and would be very hard pressed to change my mind and give someone a chance.
