Yep! Professional-level certifications from cloud providers are definitely not enough to gain the necessary skills that an architect must have. Although they confirm the recipient’s familiarity with the provider’s services to a thorough level of understanding, they do not provide the proper training in terms of the ability to work with teams and give presentations just to mention a few.

Great point! Certifications give you the ‘what’ of cloud services, but it’s the ‘how’-like working with teams and delivering impactful presentations-that really sets architects apart.

Completed the AZ-305 but doesn't have the experience? I want to just apply to architect roles, but its on my linkedIN profile I'm a cloud engineer.....how do I get around this?
