Thankfully, a basic stationary bike ( so I have found ) will suffice. It does not take much to do a few revolutions as a warm-up then to blast it for 20 to 30 seconds. If it is true, then using a bike after eating a carb-heavy meal will stimulate the leg muscles to act as a glucose soaker-upper, faster than if no stimulation was done. You'll feel the burn in the thighs, and you'd certainly be breathing a lot harder. Win, win, I guess? No doubt it would save you doing 10,000 steps and spending 90 mins getting there. That said, walking is good. Workout smarter, not longer! * I doubt you need to spend $2.800.00 on a bike that looks good and is packed full of A.I. programming. If you have deep pockets, then the Carol bike is for you.
