As a self taught, I can read sheet music and I know enough theory, I've been playing for 6 years and completed guitar studies at the conservatory. BUT something that frustrates me is that I still don't know the correct finger posture for playing different pieces and no one on youtube teaches you this exact topic for some reason. All I could ever find are tips and tricks and how to improve your techniques but never the basics of posture

I dont know if im self taught or not but bro i have been playing the piano for the past 13 years since i was 4. Except. Its only at school, i played the national anthem, some pieces for the graduation ceremony. But my parents REFUSE to buy me a piano. And im not lying when i tell you, since 2018 ive had this ipad and i LITERALLY practise pieces on there. Its hard because there are no notes to actually press on but it kinda helps when im practicing on an actual piano (not keyboard) at school for every year school orchestra. So far ive learned so many things like the song 7 years, faded, miraculous ladybug umbrella theme... etc. Ive also learned claire de lune, river flows in you and im currently learning "the water diviner" One thing about not owning a piano nor a keyboard, is how to seperate my two hands from eachother. And i started with learning Van Gogh. Theres a part where your left hand has to place 3 slow notes and your right hand has to play 2 notes at a decent speed. When i tell you it was GENUINELY the hardest thing ever. But thats why i can play claire de lune and river flows in you easily. Also Canon in D, that one was hard.
