Why? Because war is part of the human condition, it is in our DNA. Because it is so brutal, weak men who see war as horrible and unnecessary try to reason other humans into peace. They weaken themselves and their country by false reason that they have evolved and that they are willing to live on their knees if it will mean peace. The problem is just that. You can never have peace on a planet where war is in the DNA of those living there. War cannot be eliminated but could be mitigated through this novel idea of projection of power and is encapsulated in a term coined by Reagan..."Peace Through Strength". If the US suffers from weak leaders, the entire world suffers. The weak in the US try to buy peace, like they did by sending billions to central and South America to stop the invasion of the criminals but it only created a larger invasion from the entire world. They send money all over the world but it only makes things worse. It is human nature to see those so weak as to give money for peace to take, take, take until there is nothing left. Only strength and threat of a violent retribution keeps other people friendly and polite as they see you are equal or better. Bottom line is weakness is what causes war.
