Yeah, totally agree, get some basics and you're good to go. Those flashy dj videos are pretty much just for other djs to marvel at. Don't get me wrong, they can be loads of fun to watch, but in a live club setting, it usually doesn't work. Like, redbull threestyle is awesome talent, but usually won't engage a club crowd for the night. I remember one dj in my area at the time, who was very passionate and talented, tended to have a style (in the beginning) of throwing out all the effects and crazy tricks on each transition. Sure, as a dj it was cool, but the crowd wasn't really engaging with it. When he started to understand that the tricks become stale, grating and annoying to a crowd for every transition, but have huge impact when used just occasionally, he started becoming very successful (and still is).

You hit it on the head , DJ Job first and foremost is to play and entertaining that crowd in front of you, and if you play that drake song at the right time, believe me me you will notice. and then you are on the way....

Step 3. This its really a helpful tip. Also I learn this head of time way before I got into my hardware its about the listen on the beat I learn to beat count when I was a Hip-Hop Dancer also learn on the piano as well to gain from it and I learn a lot on the beat count and learn to give a end it on the 1 count to get a better smooth music to the next and also learn a lot more from understand on those style but also but way its headphones I can't deny been rocking headphones it sure its a great way to understand more on the balance of the music I think its one the wildest hobbies I ever done that when I heard something in my head I just take a min and listen to the track that its out today and what goes great with the music with it I learn that style long time ago it just came out in a way as a DJ for me. So that its a side of my little story I still can't wait to get that book real soon and learn even deep and learn the best way I can do thank you Phil. Getting ready to do the next video on on step 4. Funk Up Salute Peace and Salute P.S on those 2 you gave. 1st always even its on mixcloud or soundcloud or recorder I always learn to practice that even on Periscope when I go live on the 1-2's with few of my followers who check me out. 2nd I think I alright did but just the few followers who seen me on Periscope and this video chat room I still go on from time to time call Tiny Chat and I was on Live Me so its just the way I promote my self in the online world but in the local in Las Vegas,NV I can't wait for it when I get a fully understand in the clubs, bars, lounge real soon that's going to be real Quest that I can't not wait to discovered real soon when I go out there and make a name for my self asap.
