I got in last cycle in time to not figure out when to sell so I round tripped my bags. But I’ve been following crypto and markets since then. Going off if everyone thinks something is going to happen then it probably won’t happen thesis about btc topping in quarter 4 like most bitcoin tops. I’d lean towards a 2026 top from listening to economy enthusiasts about how the regular credit cycle is just getting started and if btc follows or is highly correlated with global liquidity than we are more likely to have a longer bull run

That sounds like a HOPE STRATEGY. I buy, and I hope it works out like that lottery ticket. OR. You can learn to day trade, use options that give you leverage and use that leverage to trade MSTU 2X leverage of MSTR which is basically bitcoin but with 2X. You trade the volatility. You don't fall in love in and out of trades. The biggest wins will come from buying puts when bitcoin has to pull back. IF.........thats a big IF you get good enough. You will become a millionaire become bitcoin before a million BTC. I already 2X my small account in JAN and its not over yet.

Depends on your strategy you have on BTC. Most people sell cryptos for Fiat-Money but some ( mostly bigger investors ) sell the alts into BTC when thinks are coming down, cause they have a bigger (time-)view on BTC and also do DCA into BTC during bearmarket, this people either expect BTC to beat its previous ATH in the next Bullmarket coming or more extreme have a mindset like Michael Sailor about BTC.

You can sell the top in any asset. Traders will talk about local tops throughout the bull run. Investors talk about the market cycle top at the end of the bull run.

This strategy always seems backwards to me. If you only have $500 to invest you should be investing long term imo. $500 you should buy BTC and SOL and similar large caps.

True. High chance of rug pulls and such in small caps. If you had an extra $5k and wanted to try this you could try 10 different investments for $500 each and maybe one or two will pay out well. But if $500 is all you have then you're right, BTC would probably be the way to start.

Like he said in the video, it depends on your risk tolerance. It’s not about the $ amount you’re investing. If your risk tolerance is higher, putting it all into Bitcoin will only get you maybe a 10x eventually, so that might not be the right strategy when you could invest in something with 100x potential. At that point you’d have 50k to invest in Bitcoin instead of $500.
