The biggest concern is how a global banking corporation could allow crypto to coexist within the banking system! Clearly, crypto poses challenges for traditional banking. It reminds me of the invention of electric cars and eco-friendly technologies-conglomerates that own gas and oil interests are often resistant to freely developing these technologies because they’re not as profitable for them.

What happens to the value of bitcoin (or other crypto currencies) if the fiat currency collapses? reason I ask is because we measure the value of all crypto against fiat. I read somewhere that it can then be measured against gold but how will the system work then? most population don't hold any gold deposits.

I had crypto for a year, it did nothing. The last week and a half it has skyrocketed(the election for president/bye bye Gary gensler I think). I only bought $6,000(XRP, XLM,HBAR,OXT). By 2027, I might be a multi millionaire on that money. I bought all at well under a dollar per coin, still there, but moving up, XRP now over a dollar.
