I purchased the same bike less than one month ago i am at 830 miles on it so far and the biggest sign of wear and tear i have is on the back brakes longest ride was 2 days ago and it was a 60 mile ride on a full charge i am only 120 pounds my advice is if you want to get the most out of our battery to use the lower levels of PAS instead of going to max speed and you will more get mileage on a full battery
@carstarsarstenstesenn7 ай бұрын
That's good advice for most e bikes. I generally go by the rule of only using top speeds when you're gonna keep that speed and momentum, so not speeding up and braking too much
@rcotebass3 ай бұрын
@@carstarsarstenstesenn if you are just looking for a cruiser not for transportation it should be fine hight wise it's good the peddles are a little close to the ground so they scrape on turns occasionally and all the hardware needs to be tightened But if you are close to or over the weight limit the battery only last 10-15 miles unless you're riding on flat roads
@RambosMullet796 күн бұрын
What's the max load? I'm 210 lbs.
@VicariousBladefist6 күн бұрын
@ I'm only 120lbs but my friend who was 270-280lbs road it around also and had no issues its likely the heavier the load the more battery drain you will encounter when doing any kinds of hills but its great for getting around on if you live in the city or close I ended up at 1755 miles on it and now I have to replace the brakes but I road the hell out even had a few wipeouts and it has held together great.

I purchased this bike about three months ago. I have put over 700 miles on it. Operating at the highest (5) setting I have gotten a maximum range of approximately 21 to 24 miles. It is a peddle assist bike. I had employment that was 21 miles from my place of residence which took me approx. 1 hr 5 min to accomplish. The last 8 miles in that trek had some serious hills to climb which after 30 minutes or more of riding the bike nor I really liked. I weigh 190-195 lbs. I believe this bicycle is more suited for a leisurely rider rather than a person whom would use it to travel at length. It rides like a tank and is meant for more smooth or flat surfaces. Overall I am pleased with the bike at the 550$ price tag.

Nice review. If you're 6'4", though ,why is the seat so low? Your knees won't last unless you raise the seat up so your knee is almost straight when your pedal is at the bottom.

I bought this bike from Walmart a couple days ago. The most trouble we had was with the installation of the front tire. It was 100% our fault because we tried installing without the quick release. DO NOT FORGET THE QUICK RELEASE when installing. Otherwise, it did come with a full battery charge so I rode it right away. This is my first e-bike. I love it! There are plenty of settings. Once you hit that plus button, the bike immediately switches to pedal assist. Start pedaling and you are on your way!

I own this (exact) same bike. I'm 6'0 / 223 lbs, & I gotta say that in my opinion: You will NOT be having any serious issues. Perhaps a bit slower take-off speed, & if your going up a super steep incline (like where I live in the hills) sometimes I prefer just jumping off the bike & walking it up to the top of the hill just so I don't 'over-work' the motor or drain the battery any quicker than it needs to. Also, I would probably just say to make sure you always keep the tires full of air so you can maximize your movement.
