As I knew when I bought one, it was made clear what it was with the Privi Mark, knew it was from the set, I even bought the set, so wasn’t conned, getting used to how the system worked now.

Are you from the UK? I am sure that Brits know their coins very well but I know of some people in the European community who thought they made a good deal and bought the coin with the privy for €80 or more. One even paid €120. He was a bit frustrated when I sent him the link to the coin set on the RM webshop.

That’s what you wanted to know. None of the coins is silver. Both are cupro nickel coins.

Both are real but the one with the privy is a „brilliant uncirculated“ coin and the one without privy is a „circulating coin“ worth much more. Scammer try to mislead people and sell coins with privy as circulating coins. It’s a bit confusing I know…

The privy mark is to indicate that they are first strike coins , which makes them more valuable.

We already have end of 2024 and the Royal Mint is still selling the 2023 50p with privy mark in the set for £30. I am not sure if your information is correct. Go to the Royal Mint web shop. Also the 50p with privy is sold for £7. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Can you share your source please?

Not the lowest 50p mintage ever. THE 1992 Eu presidency 50p had an amazingly low mintage of 109,000. Please check your facts beforehand my friend.
