Great question! One of the most important things to start regardless of what country you’re coming from is to make sure that you know how to understand a concept well and see the fundamental principles, and not just memorize everything as if it’s a fact. I’ll be posting more videos on this exact thing, so be sure to subscribe and hit the notification bell so you know when new videos come out!

For sure! Are there any subjects or methods in particular you’d like to see? In the meantime, we just published another video on Anki: Med School Anki - Top Mistakes and How to Avoid Them kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqavf4Ccds2grtU

@@alec.palmerton_md I binged watched all your videos so far x). Love the content! My main struggle is making high quality Anki cards. I actually bought your step 1 step 2 and pharmacology decks before, but I only tried to copy the format. And I also struggle to find the core concepts frequently :(

@@alec.palmerton_md Actually I'm an IMG taking the Taiwanese license exam, but I believe the principles and concepts are applied universally, and maybe Taiwan is more rote memory heavy than other countries. But say we need to remember things like surgery indications, or generally a list or tables of 'high yield' information. An example is for OGBYN, how to remember the biophysical profile with the 0-2 scores. I was told to just simply 'memorize' the entire table because everything has been tested before, but an education system like this is quite a struggle for me!
