Hi Bryan! I used to be that guy who played on an i3-2310M Toshiba Laptop and I know that feeling of just wanting to share an experience with your friends. I played Fornite at like 10-25 fps and even managed to win that one time, it was more luck than anything else. Dota 2 ran pretty ok on the lowest settings at around 30 fps which as a decent player, it was ok. I know people think it is not even considerable to play like that but sometimes you literally just want to play.

The Intel 4160 is what has powered my Lenovo Ideacentre H50-50 up to when I stopped using it on December 0I0 of 20I8, having then~recently jumped to the 8400 (which might as well be a 4790K in Locked form and with Coffee Lake's Instruction Sets); the 4160 was a major step up from the AMD Athlon II x02 250u that I was running from December 0I4 of 20II to December 024 of 20I5 that even running it with only 08 GB of DDR III at I333 MHz and no Graphics Card allowed for me to create some of the greatest local television and online programs on such a low budget system, even though the H50-50 went for 0399.99$ USD when I had gotten it in 20I5, which is astounding. Now, whenever I do upgrade the H50-50 system, it will become a Sleeper PC that will likely be running on an Intel EVO chip from the Meteor Lake era (probably an i07) and some relevant Xe or GeForce Graphics Card, the primary purpose of this system will be Live Broadcasting and Video Compression that I think this will work out just fine; especially considering that it will be doing Around the Clock broadcasting, that is essential too, the stability and lower power draw of Meteor Lake and Hopper (not sure about Xe) will deliver positive attention to many and will save people a lot of money when it comes to making a modern system going forward, especially if airing programming in Syndication pays off well for them.

hey brian could you try ordering and reviewing the lga2011 Xeon E5-2650 (v1 please) 8cores 16threads. It intrigues me because its a cheap 8core that I see alot but dont know the performance i can get since there are single to no reviews here in KZbin. Nice video btw! the system in the video actually is my current set up right now.

They should have a dual slot gpu wth gpu and cpu , This why you could run games on a very old system as the onboard cpu would stop the bottleneck. I did see a tech demo of this about 12 years ago but they did use a 2nd card with the GPU doing the math of the cpu , Co-GPU/CPU.

@@a.p.980 That'd be sweet, I made a little sleeper with an old compaq case from 2003 or so, a few mods later and it actually has airflow and usb 3 on the front panel. Only has a r5-1600 and rx 480, but I had to deal with parts on hand. Should go for it, all these vintage parts seem to be going nowhere but up in price.

Been wondering, do you order power supplies and SSDs by bulk or how does it goes? I'm slowly having more and more parts and I'm having this issue where there is basically no cheap power supplies on the used market, and when there's one, it's the same price as a Gigabyte PW400, so I just go with that, and well I just pickup 128gb SSDs for 30$ shipped on Amazon, so I wondered what you do about that, mostly for the PSU part. I guess it varies from place to place but yeah it's really making it difficult to flip computers when you have nothing to power them.
