I am taking now MSM and it started to kick in on the 4th month. It’s magic! I was suffering for 2 years prior. Could not even get out of bed.

I thought I have been suffering with Achilles tendonitis for the last 10 years. Not realising it's a peri menopausal symptom. I have now discovered liquid magnesium and calcium with vitamin D. Cod liver oil also. What a reliever. I need to improve my water consumption.

That is interesting because I heard when you take magnesium you should not eat any foods with calcium for next two hours,also magnesium has the best absorption in the morning

Did you find something that help? I am in this situation right now. A lot of stiffness in the morning or when I am without movement during the day.

Hi Patricia Thank you for your lovely comments! No, they are quite different; Cat's Claw grows in Central and South America and is often used to help support immune function whereas Devi's Claw grows in Southern Africa and is used as a natural anti-inflammatory. Best Wishes Eileen

Hi , could you please explain what’s menopause support ? Does it provide particular tips to deal with lower estrogen ? If so could you please tell us what’s the best remedy or support for low estrogen ?

Hi Fjord Menopause Support is a tablet we recommend for the menopause. It contains a combination of phyto-oestrogens from soya, magnesium and vervain. We recommend for general menopause symptoms once periods are starting to tail off or have stopped. Fermented soya extract is known to help gently balance and raise oestrogen. If you are not in the UK and Ireland you could look for a fermented soya supplement and add in magnesium and a stress remedy such as Valerian, Ashwaghanda or Rhodiola - you should be able to obtain these or something similar from your local health store. Joint pains are very common in the menopause and some women do find that old injuries can start to play up again. Hi Maria Yes, some women can experience oedema, very often it can be caused by dehydration so drinking plenty of plain water every day can often be of benefit. However, this is another symptoms that needs a proper diagnosis as other factors such as high blood pressure could be an issue.

Thank you Sofia! I drink lots of plain water, have a healthy diet with lots of vegetables, exercise nearly every day (such as walking, yoga, HIIT) and try to get plenty of sleep! Best Wishes Eileen

Hi Amanda It is possible. It's often more difficult for the body to cleanse itself due to hormonal changes and gout indicates a build-up of uric acid in the joints. You may find nettle tincture and lots of plain water can help this quite quickly. Best Wishes Eileen

Hi Jennifer, The problem with a one a day multivit is that often lots of low dosage ingredients are combined so you only get a little of everything which may not be enough at this particular time. However, some women may find it of benefit - you could always try it for a couple of months to see if it helps you.
