I felt the same about The Deep. And I think I'll have to go back and read some synopses of all the Wayward Children books so I can remember all the different characters before I try to read this latest one. Begone the Raggedy Witches sounds good, I can get it as an ebook from my library.

I disliked the political stuff in R,W & RB as well.. I loved the rest of the book except for that!
