I agree ive recently been reading trough the manga and am currently on the thriller bark arc and literally when moria is introduced that text box that usually has a characters name and epithet also includes his favorite quote being "YOU DO IT" coupled with him telling rhe rest of his crew that brook being back on the island and purifying zombies isant his problem its theirs id say he has to be the gold medal of sloth only doing anything when he absolutly has to which i did not remember his lazyness going to this extent when i saw it in the anime

My list is this: Sloth: Gecko Moria (Once he failed, he just sat down, gave up, and let his servants to his job for him. Gluttony: Big Mom (Same reasons) Lust: Absalom (Basically the same type of pervert as Sanji, but takes it from just being a creep to genuinely being a dangerous and disgusting person.) Envy: Doflamingo (His who,e goal was to become a Celestial Dragon because he was envious of them and the life he could’ve had.) Wrath: Akainu (Same reasons) Greed: Blackbeard (Hoarded tons of powerful devil fruits, takes money from everywhere he goes, and represents a stereotypical greedy pirate.) Pride: Charlos (Applies to all Celestial Dragons, but Charlos is the best example. He believes himself to be better than everyone else and that everyone should worship him.)

I would say Big Mom takes lust also, Absalom doesn't hold a candle to her, she did to get hundreds of kids with kidnapped men that she disposed of when she was bored. Envy is Ceaser, his whole personality is being better than Vegapunk. Wrath: Kanjuro, the guy dedicated his whole life to revenge. Pride. Enel, god complex but also never accepts he's wrong or that he's been defeated. When he was defeated, he demanded retribution, when Enel lost he acted as if he lost interest in the fight and left, convinc8ing himself it's simply beneath him to bother fighting Luffy.

Gluttony could’ve been thought of differently because gluttony isn’t just about eating and drinking as much as you can without reason it’s more of indulging in things just to do it without reason this could be partying or anything that just gives you enjoyment with downsides. Gluttony is doing things that give you enjoyment (ex: eating and partying) more than you should overindulging is of what is represented by gluttony instead of eating and drinking. I still think big mom is the best representation but it definitely could’ve been looked at differently otherwise good take on gluttony

He never rebuilt his crew. He laid around and made shadow zombies until the government decided to take him out) Greed: York (She snitched on Stella to try and become a world noble. She's the cause of the Egghead incident) Envy: Doffy (He wanted to reclaim his lost status as a world noble) Pride: Kidd (Hes not wrathful. He just thinks hes strong enough to rock up to anybody. I would say Imu repeesents greed since they (he? Or she?) Created and hoarded control over the entire world, presumably for 800 years. In Italian we think Pride as a semi-virtue. It’s the feeling of being satisfied about ourself (or making moves to improve our current condition) and consequently not letting other people trumps over our ideals or persona. It’s called ‘Orgoglio’/‘Onore’ and you can traslate it as ‘Honor’ or ‘Ambition’. The deadly sin on the other hand is called ‘Superbia/Tracotanza’ (you can well translate it as Arrogance) and it’s basically the self imposed idea we’re better than the others no matter what. It’s a false perception of the reality, we think as we’re the greatest or we worth more than others. It’s curios than English uses an ambiguous single word which can have positive and negative aspects referring to the context.

I think gecko moria is a real contender for sloth. After his loss to Kiado, he fully embodied it and built his crew around how he can amass power while sitting on his butt. Even his fight against luffy began with him sitting on the ground while his shadow sparred. Then he let oars do the fighting for him.
