While not as much as Kante, Miroslav Klose also deserves a spot in humility. He holds the most records for the most goals as a German player and in world cups, and despite that he has always stayed humble and out of the picture. On top of that, he was a very fair player; never dived, once told a referee to not give a penalty for his team as he considered the goalie had committed no foul and on another occasion told another ref to cancel his goal as he had given a handball. He's openly talked about how he dislikes the attitude of the new generation of players often being more into the luxurious lifestyle that football gives you than the sport itself. They Vardy bit was not presented as accurately as I would have liked. The academy he was with (Sheff Wednesday) was closing down areas due to cash problems. His coaches encouraged him to look for a new academy because he was already good enough to be on his way to an EPL career.
