But I can see why they saw it as culture appropriation and deemed it to stop. It's not adidas's festival, culture, religion to financially exploit. What would've made it better if, they made the effect during the holi festival, and then sold a cheaper pair to indians but dirt cheap with the same effect. Probably would've got marketed better and gave some indians some exclusive products this meaning they would've felt incorporated into the design and gave it the hindu thumb of approval. 😆
