7)The lintel-stone raised by St. Fechins prayers.

My family was from Fore, they were farmers there in the 18th century. We visited Fore 1994, looking to see if anyone remembered them--alas, no luck. But we were enchanted by the place, it has a very magical feel to it and is an amazing place to visit.

Took me two years from this video, but I was fortunate enough to see this for myself- and I enjoyed that a great deal- I imagine I should do a video on the 7 wonders of friendship, and how those wonders came together to lead to that moment. Thanks for the videos Shane, and the friendship- back to organizing my photos, I was a trigger happy camera person apparently...

Also one other thing, the tree that won't burn no longer exists. the tree that you have in your video is only one that grew in its place. the other tree has long since disappeared. Having said all that, it is a great video and it is a great place to come visit and see these wonders for yourself.

Iv spent manys a happy time in Fore village at the hands of Beatrice Coffey who runs the Abbey House pub. A wonderful place and your guaranteed to get an education.

Hi, nice video but there are a couple of errors in it. The lake from which the mill stream flows is not fr behind the hill that you point out but actually it's behind the hill that you are standing on at the start of the video. The water running uphill is a strange one because I was of the belief that it was the stream you pointed out that was the water in question but I since learned that the water which flows underground from lough lene to the mill actually flows upwards from the lake.
