Favorite luxury car for $15K? 2011+ Infiniti M35h. It's got arguably the most reliable VQ (the 35HR), coupled with roughly 60hp worth of electrification and I love the door panels and steering wheel. It makes the Lexus GS interior look pedestrian and while keeping up with the Lexus and the Acura TL it will be getting 27/32 fuel economy. Getting 30mpg and running the quarter mile in just under 14 seconds is basically unheard of among sedans north of two tons. The 2011 Mustang V6 was the first car with 300+hp and 30mpg+ highway but even an economical pony car can't touch an M35h in city FE, with the Mustang (also a high 13 second 1320 car) dropping to 19mpg puttering around town.

The 2012 Hyundai Genesis 5.0 V8 R Spec has 429 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque with an 8 speed automatic, yeah it's bit heavy but that's not a major issue. And it's a Hyundai cheaper to maintain than those German/American cars you listed. That would be my choice, if I wanted a sleeper sedan. Yeah Mercedes are nice and quick, but they're sooo unreliable.

While you can get an Audi, Mercedes and BMW for under $15K as they are older and will start needing repairs you'll start to feel like you paid full price. If you go with the Hyundai make sure it has low mileage because when it starts reaching 100K miles, it's at the end of its life and the value at 100K is not worth the repair costs. GM (Cadillac) does make some nice cars but hasn't figured out quality. I had a Cadillac once, nicest piece of crap I've ever owned. Honda (Acura) and Nissan (Infiniti) quality has gone dramatically down in recent years but these older 2014 and past are still pretty reliable. Toyota (Lexus) still maintains the best quality & reliability in most of their vehicles but do the research.

How about a super realiable 2007-2011 Lincoln Town Car? Bulletproof V8 that is know to reach 500,000 miles plus with no rebuild. I have seen them with 700k miles. Mine went to 240k before I totaled it. Last full frame car available aside from Rolls Royce and possibly Bentley. I hit a concrete wall and still drove home. Has rear wheel drive with rear airbag shocks. Drives like a dream and ride stays level with 6 passengers and a full trunk. Oh that's right, you can fit 3 in the front with a bench seat. You can smash your Keyfob into a million pieces and still start car with the key. You can also leave you car running with air conditioning going in the summer and doors locked with the digital pad on drivers door. And you can buy a southern rust free low mileage cream puff from some old man for under 10k.

Audi is my favorite looking car as far as style, however, while you don't have to be rich to own one, you do have to be prepared to spend much more than a reliable vehicle on yearly maintenance. Unfortunately Audi rates extremely low on reliability.which is unfortunate because it's my favorite stylish car that I will never buy. Lexus is the best and affordable if you buy used. I also love the Cadillac style, however it too waits extremely low on reliability and extremely high cost to maintain. The BMW and Mercedes rates low to extremely low on reliability and extremely high annual maintenance cost. TheHyundai Genesis.rates average and a safer bet than the rest would be. The Acura is the best on your list for sure. It's a safe bet if you see luxury cars that cost $35,000 or more for $15,000, there's a reason .
