Lou Williams shouldve been the injury replacement in 2018, not Paul George. They were separated by like 2-3 games and Westbrook was already named to the team and a top 5 MVP candidate that year while Lou put up better numbers, shooting splits, all in less minutes and off the bench with a team that was given pretty much no chance as opposed to the "OKC Big 3" (that choked to a rookie in the playoffs to follow it up btw) and was the best player on his team that year too..... it was even more annoying that Jimmy Butler sat out the allstar game that year when he was questionable the day prior, when the game was literally in LA and Lou Williams couldve easily replaced him. Its a shame the league missed an opportunity to reward him on a spectacular season.

10:13 Thank you for pointing that out! It's easy to say who was snubbed, but can they say who shouldn't had made it? I doubt that majority of the people saying that a certain player was snubbed can even say who shouldn't had been selected. I also believe Lou Williams' sixth man role has a lot to do with why he's never been named an all star. Manu Ginobili could've been selected more than twice if had a been a starter. Lamar Odom definitely should've been an all star at least once, but being a sixth man later in his career made it difficult.

No coincidence all these "almost all-stars" were/are Western conference guards. The All Star game is like the Oscars: it's nice to have one but it's not a measure of true worth or even greatness. The degree of difficulty and the length of productivity alone gets Lou Will into the Hall of Fame. Plus Lou is a great teammate and a cool dude. Tobias Harris is a rock solid cornerstone: professional, productive and efficient. He fits in wherever he gets in. Look at his real value: teams improve upon his arrival, and he brings back a lot when he is traded. I still believe that the Clips gave up too much and too soon: Lou, Trez, Pat and Tobias could have been champs playing for Doc.

That's actually a really good description of the Western Conference the last 22 years, starting with the Spurs powerhouse in 98-99. The Western Conference has been a complete blood bath. Up until The Nets gained 3 offensive superstars this year, the West has been a giant anvil and the Eastern conference a quarter-full bucket of water. And even with the Nets "powerhouse", a team in the Western Conference will likely be crowned champion for years to come. The Eastern Conference ruled a large chuck of the latter-half of the 20th century.

@Kings Will Soon Rise Get swept in the first round. Dallas makes the WCF which no one on planet earth was expecting. The Suns fell apart. And the Warriors win chip number 4 in 7 years

@Kings Will Soon Rise the problem with the nets is they had 3 enormous egos on the starting lineup, and Durant was bitching about Harden being a ball hog

i think Brogdon is missed from this list grant and wood have yet to show enough to really be considered, but they are on good track to get mentioned or get selected

Most fans are so weakminded that they can't or wont argue who their "snub" should replace. Add more spots on the Allstar roster, then making the team wont mean much.
