Sturgis is great!!! But the tickets from the cops suck!!! The bikers give most of the income to Sturgis/ Deadwood/Lead and the rest of the 20 plus radius miles. But hey!!! It was fun a few times. I need to go back because my last shirt is now a oil rag…

I got a ticket for my bike stand being over the line by 3”. They had my bike going up a flatbed. I had to pay over $300.00 . That was after Sturgis was over. You spend over $1000.00 for 3 days. Then they want to clip you more. That was 2007. Went back in 2009 with a few of the gang. No shit was pulled over 3 times. Thank God we had a clean driver. It doesn’t end there. As we walked up to our hotel room… we were harassed again!!! Is Sturgis a good experience? Yes!!! If you can afford it. One last note. FUCK THE POLICE AND THE POLICIES THAT THEY HAVE TO MAKE MONEY!!! Lead/ Deadwood/ Sturgis… FUCK YOU!!! 🇺🇸🦅🦬

A tradition as large as the rally itself, is the residents standing in their yards as the bikers head out of town, and letting them know that they're "number one".... with both hands. Seems that after a week of not being able to shop for groceries, or eat in a restaurant, the locals grow weary of the annual onslaught of beer bellies, bar flies, and bandanas. Those rugged individualists, who all dress exactly alike, and ride the same brand of bike.

Used to love going to the Black Hills to ride. Especially during Sturgis week to catch up with old friends. But since HD and really the Sturgis community went woke, I'll be spending my time elsewhere. Just my opinion mind you.

Too much stupid in Sturgis for my liking (and yeah, been there several times, usually outta there by Wednesday when 'THEY' show up. The clean bike crowd, you know not ridden there.). Guess I am too old school for that crap, I like bikes, drinking, drugs and being stupid, not so much.
