Love this video, when I was very young like around 8years old I had old man as a friend that had an aquarium room setup like this, I don't know how the old guy put up with me sitting in his fish room for hours going from tank to tank, sadly he died of a heart attack before I could show him my appreciation for what he put into my life.

Wow! I had tears in my eyes at the end. Thank you Nick and Bernd for sharing your passion. I don't even have fish but it is so beautiful to see you guys. Bernd is doing everything right! There are so many old people who only sit in front of the Tv and have negative thoughts, but Bernd is showing all of us how to be happy, specially in the later days of life. Just follow your passion and keep enjoying every moment! And yes Nick we need a full tour. Minimum 1 hour video 😅😁 Wish everyone here a nice day ☀️

Thanks so much for these videos Nick. There were tears for me as soon as Bernd said "What takes age from the hobby!". Such a simple statement that is so powerful, keeping fish has always been a background hobby for me, but it's the best 5 minutes of my day because every morning I get to sit there with a coffee and just watch. Next time I'm in Brisbane, I'll be stopping by to shake your hand. Don't stop documenting this stories, they will mean so much to so many people, now and in the future.

This was great to watch and the advice at the end was spot on. We can make so much work out of fish keeping that isn't necessary. It should be relaxing, not just work for the sake of it. I also wanted to add that I always feel an affinity for people who've settled far from home and restarted their fish keeping hobby in a new country as I've done. Somehow that connection with fish and aquariums keeps you rooted to nature and something meaningful when you're alone and somewhere different to where you grew up.

This is my favorite episode EVER. This man has stories. In America I know a lady in her 90s who’s father was a naz officer. She was put in the camps after he was killed and the Red Cross got her out and she married an American in the army a few years later. Love this. These are the kind of people you can talk to for hours they have so much knowledge and unfortunately people don’t recognize it enough.
