The 8x8 Armored Monster with a Russian Turret

The design and development of cutting-edge Armored Combat Vehicles have historically been associated with the world’s superpowers and their formidable warfare industries. Still, small countries worldwide have recently ventured to design their own proposals to take the industry by storm and secure a place in the highly competitive scene.
That is the case of Serbia and its relatively small military industry, which is about to launch an ambitious and promising new military asset: the Lazanski wheeled Armored Combat Vehicle.

Some other info on the vehicle that you either failed to mention or didn't find the data on: - Turret is less protected than the rest of the vehicle, but since it is unmanned, it is less of a problem... - It lacks ATGMs, which is stated to change in the future - The main issue currently is the turret, since it is Russian, and there are different embargos on Russian equipment. That is why another turret is being considered. - The 57mm gun is just AWESOME! However, many claim that 30mm gun would be just enough... - Hull is Turkish, engine is American, turret is Russian, but the vehicle is Serbian... However, all in all, it is a well rounded and a good vehicle. Serbian military industry's main issue is lack of capability for mass production. Plus, IMHO, Serbia got involved into this segment a bit too late, so the market is already taken by big players. It is also my opinion that as for export, Serbia should stick to what works best; infantry weapons, ammo (such as rockets for Grad and similar systems with double the range of the original), artillery systems... BTW, Lazar has also been exported to Cyprus as well as Nora B52 self-propelled artillery...

The hull isn't Turkish, it's made about technology bought from South Africa... A 57mm cannon is the perfect price ratio, ability, firepower... There's no vehicle but a tank that can withstand a 57-millimeter attack.

There is lot of false informations in video and there is some mashup of informations about Lazanski, that you took from Lazar. Armament vise, 57mm Kinzal was just proposal, due to inability to obtain 30mm Bushmaster II turret for reasonable price and inability to obtain licence for producing ammo for it. Since 24 of Feb this year, all new procurements from RF were scrapped and there will be no new orders of armament from RF indefinitely. However, there are some armament that was procured from RF last couple of years, but do to ongoing war, instead of being delivered this year, due date is now indefinitely.

The only real chance of sells for this APC would be outside EU probably Africa or Middle East since countries with higher military budges will be able to afford much better platforms like Boxer, Patria, VBCI. But if someone wants to buy platform armed with more then 30mm then IFV might be much better choice and that market is so heavily competitive that this vehicle stands no chance.

Those platforms aren't necessarily better, besides all of the mentioned vehicles are modular, for example Patria with STANAG 3 armour protection and armed with RWS 12.7mm HMG (even 30mm auto-cannon) couldn't possibly be better than Lazanski armoured STANAG 5 and armed with RWS 57mm! Their brand names are widely known thanks to the strong marketing and that's what brings their price high above the realistic one!
