People tend to forget that there's not many safety precautions when your munitions go kaboom on the aircraft. In Vietnam when something like that is expected to happen they could manually drop it to prevent damage to the vehicle. All you need is a good shot on those bombs and the drone will light up brighter than 4th of July especially with how heavy those bombs look. So I would hardly call it a drone but more of a unmanned bomber as bombers are still somewhat cannon fodder no matter how stealthy meanwhile a drone still has some issues regarding cannon fodder ideas as the drone here would be massive and easier to spot. It is only useful for defenseless units and more likely to be used on land than it is overseas as air denial would be most fortified there as the US would be less likely to go in by mainland Asia.
