IMO 1,2 are business models, 3 is a cultural approach or strategy, 4,5,6,7,8,9 are more like operational strategies (models for how to do business, I guess)

It is a bit messy what is strategy, business model"s competitive advantages, capabilities...In my opinion, these different terms or ideas have to answer different questions, or perspectives, points of view on business. There are a lot of overlapping...

I just shot a video on this. Really good video Bernard and I agree with a few things you've shared. Subscription income is essential, that's the true definition of passive income. Do you sell any courses to sell any pieces of training on this? If not I highly recommend becoming an affiliate at the least because you have a great following and traffic coming in. Great job and all the best.

Expansion is essential to a business as it evolves from a startup to a full-fledged company backing a product or service. However, a business can't grow if there is no concrete roadmap in place to navigate the uncharted space. I think the best fit for business relies heavily on the industry and the customer base that the company plans to serve. In my case, a subscription seems to be the best fit due to most software premium software existing in this state today. However, that's not to say that is the only method.

I am thinking about a new type of restaurants : eating-spots, in eating-spots, food keeps changing, chefs also rotate, this is opposed to current restaurants, thanks to this rotation of food and chefs, eating-spots are way more powerful than restaurants, along with that, there is an app, people vote for the food that will be cooked in the next days, menu is influenced by the live input of the people via an app.

In practice we use almost all these models similarly. Does a hybrid business model exist? is it effective? or rather we should be more focused on just one or two?
@bernardmarr
@bernardmarr 4 жыл бұрын
If you can create a hybrid between all 9 you have a winning formula - just think of Amazon, Alphabet, Alibaba, etc.- many of today's most successful companies are using all 9.

@@bernardmarr In my opinion this is the right message of this video, naturally, if all these is applicable in concrete company. If all those business models are elements of one business model, maybe we should call them differently, (but that question seems to be intellectual exaggerating), or simply as you said we should call them hybrid - winning-models. Thanks a lot as usual, looking fwd for the next video!

What are business model components? 1. Anything that a business model needs to produce a product or service: design, raw materials, production methods, labor, etc. 2. Anything needed to sell a product: marketing, distribution, product delivery, or sales services and operations. 3. Everything that the customer pays and how it is paid: pricing strategy, payment methods, payment time, down payment amount, etc. retiba.com/academy/business-strategies/business-model-differ-business-plan/ A good business_model can modify and optimize each of these three components. You may be able to lower costs during design and production. You may be able to find more effective ways to market and sell. Or you may be able to come up with an innovative way for customers to pay.
