I still love playing 96 deco in 3, the fact that it has the same kit from 1 is such a fun throwback! But yeah, 1's meta was something else 😅

Deco version is my favorite weapon in 3 and it is my to go weapon in Anarchy! It was hard the wait until lvl 23 to get it, been using it since 1!

I really miss the craziness of splatoon 1 meta but I still think splatoon 3 is the best game in the series.

It was the best in terms of special weapons and maybe balance but not maps and playmaking power. Splatoon 2 is more team oriented; splatoon 3 is more special weapons pushing in. Also, splatoon 1 still has a few weapons that could still work in the current game, such as squiffer with kraken and Bomb. Or weapons that still need buffs like H-3 nozzlenose.

@@kristopherhayes1957 I could see an argument being made that splatoon 2 had the better maps than one, but there is no way in heck that splatoon 3 maps beat one’s.

@@jocabulous I feel s1 had the best maps in the series, with s2 pretty much the same, but I feel s3's maps are just horrible, and only feel like funny corridors. And yeah inkstrike was kinda broken, as well aa a bunch of specials. basically just if everyone is OP, nobody is

The old sprinkler not decaying allowed me to just hold off some routes effortlessly by myself with the standard .96 Gal. Put it on one of the signs on Saltspray right after their spawn point and it was pretty much a deadzone for them. Or launching it above to the ceiling of Bluefin Depot. Not to mention it did more damage in S1. Man I miss old Sprinkler. Actual 5th teammate in that game.

I enjoy using the .96 Gal on S3. I haven't switched at all since the game came out sonce its my main. It's just so good to use. I prefer that way more than the Deco

I remember back in the day where i didn't even know what meta meant/was and i loved using the 96 gal (alongside dynamo and crb) because they felt so good and strong! And they were fun :D

I try to like this weapon in S3. Love the skin and the range. And splash wall. But hate that RNG. But squeezer is a better gal .96 in every way (except when finger exaustion kicks in)
