From what I can remember Max played Joe so well and it's not easy especially so young to keep it seeming real and so on, they all did it well, but that is an interesting role to have as a young kid I'm sure it taught him a thing or 2 in portraying Joe

I have to say a massive congratulations to all the cast of the A word. Every actor played such a great role and there was no one weak or less fascinating to watch. Max is absolutely spectacular for such a young actor , he will have a brilliant future . The episode with Ralph’s wedding was so so beautifully written and acted that at even my husband had tears in his eyes . If this doesn’t wind awards there is something seriously wrong.

Usually by Season 3 of any series I'm starting to have enough - Killing Eve take note - but The A Word simply goes from strength to strength. It's nice to see the other characters' worlds developing quietly around Joe whilst still keeping essential focus on him. Clever.
