To Jeremy Choo. Which aircraft did EK use for their suites before SIA? I believe SIA were first to fly the A380,so don't know how EK did it before them. Interested to "hear" your answer.

If you are not a little bit intolerant and impatient, if you are ready to cut a few corners, make a few compromises, accept a few inconveniences and then move on-you will never pay more than $10K for a flight, will you? I mean to say these advertisements are designed to convince you that you need the finest wine in the world even when you are 30K feet above it, some descent quality juice is not enough to quench your thirst. You need the most expensive wood and lather for your sit of a few hours, something most people (certainly me) cannot afford in their lifetime. As for me, I fly quite a lot, mostly in medium hauls (5-6 hours). For me it is about getting up at point A, start reading a book or a few professional articles and then catch a short nap, then touching down at point B. A small meal is an added bonus, but water is a must. So it is not just about money, it is also about what you really need in the sky.
