I show how easy and how important it's is to properly tune your crankbait or jerkbait! It must run absolutely straight as an arrow and that is easy to do!

I am wondering how many fisherman do not know this. A lot of older tips like this are not known. I am hoping that these bits of wisdom are being noticed.

Great video Mr Martin. I've been watching and using your tips my whole life. Since you brought up hook replacement. I think that would be great content for a video.

Thanks Roland! I’m exited to try this on all my lures to see how different they perform. I know quite a few roll to the side when I’m reeling them in. I didn’t know I could do anything about it! Keep up the great informative videos. I look forward to every one!

You can also tune buzz baits and spinner baits with the same technique. Only difference is make sure all the wires line up inline with the hook look from front and behind to make sure they are all inline

I use to have to do that all the time because..... OK I'll tell you my secret I would start off trolling shorelines with a crank bait or spinner and they needed to track straight for that reason right behind the boat out about 50 yards or more moving very slow along a shoreline When I hooked up with a fish that was a spot to stop at and I always found more big fish in that same area and I could start catching fish left and right in that area so I guess I could call it my fool proof fish finder method :) In the mean time I would be watching the Roland and Jimmy wanna be's running their fancy boats all over the lake with their fancy fish finders never catching thing LOL
